’tis the season for change

When I finally pulled up the zinnias, I was amazed to see how well the rudbeckia had done.  I felt pretty guilty about how dry the ground was, but a girl has to have her priorities.  (our rainy day resulted in only .25inch precip)  I brought the coleus, and mints around back and cut back the mints;  pulled out the “finished” tomatoes;  potted both the rosemarys; harvested the lemon verbena;  planted some mums in with the strawflower;  put the kids’ picnic table away and rearranged the front porch; watered it all down real good.   I’m going to TRY to have each harvest put up individually and I’ve started with the lemon verbena.  Tea, anyone?
