spring harvest…

you can’t really tell, but that’s a shitload of various varieties of lettuce…a lot of onions, too ,with some chive flowers on top, and what’s left of our oregon sugar peas..  i had planned on leaving the onions in until they were full-size, but i need the room now for sunflowers, beans, and other stuff i haven’t thought of, yet.  we’ve all eaten a lot of the peas—olivia actually likes them…there are more of a different  variety that i think i’ll leave for another week.  i love peas…

lots of watering going on and the flowers out front and on the side are loving it.   i probably won’t get to planting the beans, etc. until monday after i’ve amended the soil with some composted manure, but in the meantime, i’m going to take advantage of the clearance sales going on at the garden shops—so no telling what i’ll plant next…
