’tis the season…

it’s some serious digging up goin’ on around here…gone are the zinnias;  both the husky and sweet 100 cherries are no more; the roma tomatoes are a memory;

most of the better boy tomatoes have been harvested, but about half-dozen are left on the vine…their second wind was better than their first..!

there’s still the rosemary and purple sage that need to be put in pots for the winter…we haven’t decided where to put the compost heap…i’ve got an idea about moving the roses…

in the meantime, the berries on the dogwood are abundant and our new spruce seems hopeful…
